THE ARTISANS OF SPECIALTY COFFEE
We were born as a micro roastery, founded in 2013 by Francesco Sanapo, an award-winning barista champion and taster, and by Patrick Hoffer. The purpose and mission of Ditta artigianale is to bring to Italy coffee of extreme quality and to tell their story in a completely different way, implementing total transparency and a commitment to sustainability in all and for all production steps.

Ditta Artigianale is a dream come true, in fact, Patrick and Francesco had been dreaming for several years, after years of research and study around the world, about the different systems and ways of understanding coffee, to apply this phenomenon of specialty coffee in the Italian and European market. Ditta Artigianale is an Italian roasting company with an international vision.
We like to tell the story of coffee, we like to travel to the farthest places just to find exclusive coffee, and then roast them with care to enhance all their aromas.

We want to spread the culture of coffee
Following the creation of the micro roastery, the desire to get closer to people, to communicate directly on the street, and to share the coffee experience with customers has grown. This desire for connection materialized in the opening of the first coffee bar, Ditta Artigianale, located at via de’ Neri 32r, from which the adventure that led to the opening of five venues in Florence began.

A unique experience
With the coffee shop in the heart of Florence, Ditta Artigianale aims to connect the various points of the supply chain to reach the direct consumer. Ditta Artigianale is based on the search for the most exclusive micro lots, generating direct relationships with individual producers, taking care of the roasting to enhance every single characteristic of that coffee until it is served to the final consumer, for a unique and quality experience.
